Alternative Spring Break



Our most successful publicity campaign at SERVE, Alternative Spring Break is a nationwide volunteering practice promoted by universities. I was responsible for copywriting and design under the supervision of Lauren Slaydon. The challenge in this campaign was that the activities would take place locally, where usually these are trips to far-off locations, hence more exciting to potential volunteers.




For this year's ASB, I decided to use bold colors and photography, balanced with levity. Using concise writing, punchy typography, and a good helping of Photoshop made this campaign very successful; we reached thousands of potential volunteers, some applying from as far as Atlanta to participate.
